Why do we like to bang our heads?

The girls do this all the time! They think it is so funny until they actually hurt themselves!

Bedtime and Playtime

Makenna was so tired she fell asleep on Grandpa since she did not get a nap that day! Brought back memories for Grandpa, she has always had a very close connection to him! She sure does love her Grandpa!

Reading our books together!

Laughing from banging our heads on the door! Boy do Maysie and Jaeli look alike in this picture! Usually its really easy to tell them apart, but not when they laugh at the same time!

The other night I snuck in to get a pic of them sleeping. Jaeli is in the picture, but you can't see her because Makennas feet are on her!
I decided I was not ready for this, so we put play pins up and they have only gotton out a couple times and can usually get back in when they are ready to sleep or get away from each other! Hopefully it continues to go well!

Jace and his smiles!

Loves to talk and smile! He is so adorable! My little man. He is starting to try and sit on his own, still to little to do it by himself, but with a little support he does pretty good! He hates to lay down now unless he is tired!

Bye Bye Cribs...

BEFORE NAP
AFTER NAP
Well, the day has come the girls figured out how to climb out of their cribs. If only they waited 2 weeks, their room would have been baby proofed. I busted my butt today trying to get their room at Grandma's house baby proofed before their next nap time.
So here is what happened, I put them down for a nap at 10 a.m. (which is really just play time in their cribs b/c they never sleep.) Well I went into the kitchen to make something to eat and Grandpa says, uh, I think they are out! He heard them turning the door knob. Oh boy, I was not happy! So I put them back in. Then they got out again, so again, I put them in. Out again...so they just came back out to play so mommy could figure something out.
Daddy watched them while I worked on baby proofing. Well, I heard that you could take the frame for the mattress out and just put the crib over the mattress on the floor. Well that worked for one crib, but not the others. And it was not very secure, so I figured they would find their way out anyways. And i could go spend $70 bucks a piece on crib tents, but I would have to order them, so it would be another week or two. I decided that since we will have the house soon, I will just try mattresses on the floor. I baby proofed the rest of the room best I could. Cribs went in front of the closet to block them from getting in and all their storage boxes went in the cribs.
Well, nap time did not go so hot, they NEVER slept, played, cried, fought for 2 hours straight. It was crazy. So after nap they were extremely fussy. Makenna ended up falling asleep on Grandpa about 2 hours before bedtime. I had to wake her up to eat. (Will post a picture later.) Now they are in bed...just running around and playing. Oh what I have to look forward to in the morning!
Wish us luck! Hopefully it only takes a few days for them to get used to it, but man, they are not even 2 yet!

Jace 3 months old

Well Jace is three months old now! He is getting so big and chuncky!!! He laughs and smiles all the time. He loves standing and being tickled. He tries to sit up on his own. He also loves his feet touching his face. He is always stretching, pretty much into a U shape and stays that way for a couple minutes! He is a pretty good eater now and sleeps all through the night! He is sick right now, he has a cough, along with the rest of us! He eats about 7 oz every 3 hours, sometimes less, sometimes he goes longer! He will be one before we know it!

The kids had a great easter! It was a bit sad though for mommy and daddy since we did not get to see them much. My parents took the girls to church with them since they were watching them that weekend. And Jace stayed with Josh's aunt and her family the whole weekend and went to church with them. We did get to give them some more goodies from the Easter bunny later that night when we finished what we needed to get done with the house.

It's been rough not seeing the kids as much and working on the house a lot, but once we get it done, then we will be back to normal! Grandpa Jack has been spending a lot of time with Jace while I am at the house working, it has been a huge help, but like I said, I don't get to spend much time with him. Soon, only a couple more weeks and we should be able to move in! We just have some floors to put in, one or two more rooms to paint and a plumbing/drainage issue to fix and we should be ready to unpack!
