Monkey Joe's In Indy!

After watching Elmo, we decided to take um to Monkey Joe's to burn off all the cotton candy they ate! And hopefully sleep in the car on the ride home before the wedding reception. It worked, they all fell asleep! Took Maysie longer, but what's new, she is always the last to fall asleep. They had a blast and Aunt Jarilyn had fun going on the slides and in the play areas with them! They had an area for toddlers, but they got bored with it and wanted to explore. Once Jarilyn showed/helped Mak go up and then down the first one, she could do most of the big kid ones by herself. Of course Maysie and Jaeli wanted to try too. I even had to go up a couple times cause they had a line of kids behind them since they were having trouble getting up um. It was a work out, can't imagine how Jarilyn felt! Maysie caught on towards the end and was doing pretty good with little help. Jaeli, not so much. I tried to keep her in the easy ones! They were getting tired and had not eaten lunch yet. So after an hour or so we packed um up and gave um a snack in the car, hoping they would fall asleep soon and eat a big dinner at the reception. It is definitely something to do again soon when we go visit Aunt Jarilyn and maybe when Jace is older and can enjoy it too!

Sesame Street Live!!

We took the girls to Indy on Saturday to spend the day with Aunt Jarilyn and watch Sesame Street Live! I promised her I would bring the girls to Indy if it ever came to town. After I bougt the tickets, I found out they were coming to our town, but that was okay, it was a nice road trip and we went to Monkey Joe's too where they had a blast! Grandpa came with us as well. The girls enjoyed his wheel chair! They did pretty well during the car ride, it was only 2 hours, so it was not too long to wait. During the show they did a good job too, after intermission they started to get up and walk around all over the place. Not all the rows were filled and we had no one behind us, so of course they had to go walk around and explore...see how far they could get. Then Jaeli started to get tired and throwing a fit. So Josh took her out and of course Maysie and Makenna had to go soon after. After that we decided to go, about 20 minutes before it ended. For being 2 1/2 years old, they did really good and seemed to really enjoy it. Makenna even asked to go see Elmo today. Maybe next year we will take them again and they will be able to sit for a longer period of time.

Wedding Reception

The girls were a little shy at first and did not want to play with the other kids, but opened up after a half hour or so. They would not let their new friend play with them at first, but then were okay with it, but she was wasn't. Eventually, they all played together and had fun. The little girl, Adrianna gave each of them a kiss at one point and Jaeli would go over to her and try and play with her. Her father is actually someone Josh grew up with, the brother of the bride. And... they just live down the street. So we are hoping to have a play date soon with them! It will be good for the girls to play with someone their age. And from what Adrianna's mom said, she is the only girl in the family, so she does not get to play with other little girls very often!

Good Pictures (Jace 15mths and Girls 2 yrs 7mths)

These pictures really show their personalities. For being very crabby today, these pictures turned out really well. I had to bribe them with chocolate...but it was worth it! Love to see their smiles and silly faces. Makes me remember just how much fun they are and how truly lucky I am to have them all! Can't imagine it any other way.
