Probably wont post for awhile...

Josh and I are going on VACATION, starting Friday and wont be back until late Monday. So it will be awhile before I get a chance to post again. It will be our 5th Anniversary on the 12th!

I do want to say thank you to Janna and Rick and Kris and Greg for taking on two of the kids each for us while we go out of town. To give up your time to take on two of the kids for four days is huge! We really appreciate it, appreciate you giving us a break so we can have some much needed time together! We owe you and GOOD LUCK!!!

And to my parents for going with us, as well as all their time they give us to help us with the kids. We hope this will be a nice break for you as well.

BUT I just added a bunch of posts, so check them out!

Michigan Vacation - The Pool (1 of 5)

Having so much fun swimming in the kiddie pool!
 Makenna was in heaven!
Maysie loved being able to swim without her wings!
 Makenna was splashing everyone!
They really loved getting their hair wet!
Makenna trying to get Jace to jump to her!
And Makenna jumping in! She tried the big pool a couple times, thankfully Grandpa had an eye on her so he could yell for Josh to get her before she went in without any protection on! She was very daring, went one step too far (while Josh was with her), so she decided she didn't like it anymore and stayed in the kiddie pool!
 Splashing around in the water!
Jace had a blast jumping in, I even got in so I could play with him. He just kept jumping over and over and saying "Jump again!".
Jaeli and Mak LOVED the slide, Maysie would go up the stairs but not go down the slide.
Makenna was watching the big kids go down it and decided to give what they were doing a try, going head first backwards! She loved it of course! I think this helped them feel even more comfortable with the water cause now they let daddy throw them in the big pool (with their arms of course) and they go under, head and all! They must be holding their breath cause they don't cry when they come back up and usually want to do it again. Jace doesn't seem to mind too much.

This was probably their favorite part of the trip, they had so much fun. I loved that they could go in the water and not have to worry so much that they would go under if someone wasn't in it with them. It only came up to their knees, maybe a little higher. Jace had to wear wings, just to be safe since he was being daring and jumping in ALL THE TIME!

Michigan Vacation - Bella Boos (2 of 5)

 Building Room
 Loved the slides!
Spent most of the time in the jungle gym room.
 Jaeli had a good time.
 Maysie reading a book.
 Dress up!
 Maysie playing in the Kitchen
 Makenna loving it!
 Way up high!
 Jace enjoyed himself!
 Mr. Dare Devil!
So so very high... we heard Maysie crying once, not sure what exactly happened, but when she came down she had face paint on her forehead that was not there before she went up!
 Hi Mommy!
Jace kept trying to go up backwards!

 Going shopping!

Bella Boos was a big play house for kids, it was great! They all had so much fun. They even had a toddler room that was like a really big play pin that Jace played in for a bit. They had around a dozen different areas/rooms that had a theme. A water room, a jungle gym, building room, paint room, reading room, kitchen, dress up, grocery store and a few others. And everything was made for kids. It was hard to find and I was not too sure of it at first, but once we got there, it was great! We would go to each room with them and just sit and watch them. They also had a regular sized cafe area you could sit at and eat while you watched them play. If we are every up that way again, we will have to stop in!

Michigan Vacation - Beach (3 of 5)

Makenna LOVED the beach, she would have stayed much much longer if we let her.
Jace having a little trouble walking, it was pretty funny.
Maysie taking a walk with Aunt Kris
Jaeli taking it in, very nervous!
 Makenna liked the sand!
Maysie taking a walk with Mandy, she has attached to Aunt Mandy ever since she took her for some one-on-one time.
Makenna getting sand out of her toes!
Jace enjoyed it, something new for him.
They got to stand in the water, they were not too sure what to think of it, especially when they started to sink!

Overall, the beach was a good experience for them. We had been talking about going to the beach for a couple weeks cause we have a beach book we have been reading. But all the beaches around this beach, at the Dunes, were closed due to e-coli. This one was open and people were swimming, but I didn't want to take the chance, so we just went for a bit and let them explore, then we headed elsewhere!
