Newest Addition to our Family!

Another Girl!! Born today, November 16th, 2012 at 5:40 p.m. She is 8 lbs 11 oz and 19" tall. Miss Dara Danielle Nusabaumer. She is beautiful! Congrats to my baby sister Kristin and her husband Greg. So happy to have another precious little girl in our family. You did great, it was a long, hard 48 hours for you and Greg, but you guys hung in there and finally received your beautiful miracle from God! She is perfect. I can't even begin to tell you how happy I am for you and that Mandy and I now get to experience motherhood with you and enjoy watching her grow. I have to give a HUGE thanks for letting me be apart of this wonderful day and experiencing just a small piece of this miracle and the new lives you have now entered into. Wishing you a quick and healthy recovery and hope all you dream and wish for during this time comes true!

Christmas Pictures

Last week the kids and I had fun taking some Christmas pictures. They all did great. I am only posting some of them, some will be on Christmas cards.

Jace - Trouble!

Since Jace did not get to go on our mini vacation, I will post a little about him. Yes, he does not listen well, he hits and throws things and pushes my buttons but I would be lost without him. He has me wrapped around his little finger. His kisses are the BEST, they may be slobbery at times - but they are great and can't leave out his big bear hugs! As you see from the picture, he has climbed onto his book shelf and trying to get to the top. He gets stuck occasionally and can't get down... but he just keeps trying!
He will be THREE in about 6 weeks. Where did my baby go? It's sad to know I will never have a baby again, never experience that again. I miss it, a lot. But there is so much to look forward to!

And my little sisters is about to have her baby soon, so that should help me get over my sadness of never having a baby again - and she has included me in so much with her pregnancy and it means the world to me. So thanks Kris and Greg, I appreciate it and can't wait to meet your new bundle of joy!

Indy - Makenna's Appointment/Hotel Stay

This weekend Josh and I took the girls to spend the weekend with Aunt Jarilyn. Makenna had an appointment at Riley on Monday so we thought we would make a mini vacation out of it. Felt bad leaving Jace with Grandma B, but it wasn't a trip for him. I am sure he would have had a blast, but it would not have been much fun for Josh and I. Sleeping in the hotel would have been a HUGE struggle and chasing him around all the time would not have been fun. Next year buddy!

The hotel we stayed at was... okay. It was not the best, but you get what you pay for, right? The pool SUCKED! The hot tub was warm, not hot and the pool was freezing! Even the girls couldn't stay in it. They LOVED the hot tub though. A nice older couple joined us for awhile. We had some nice conversations with them and they seemed to enjoy watching the girls. We only went once!

When we arrived to the hotel we got a HUGE... welcome I guess you could call it. It was the biggest "triplet" reaction we have got yet. There were about a dozen high school soccer players there. They were all standing in the lobby so as soon as we walked up with the girls they all turned around and all shouted.. "AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW, TRIPLETS, HOW CUTE, LOOK AT THEM, IT'S TRIPLETS, OH MY GOD, HOW ADORABLE" blah blah blah. I know many people don't get to see triplets very often... but really did they have to scream??? It scared the crap out of the girls, as soon as they heard them they about turned around and ran out the door. And then, Sunday morning, I took the girls down for breakfast by myself while Josh slept... big mistake. I have never been so uncomfortable. I had eyes all over me and the girls... and comments being made left and right like we weren't even there. And of course, it was the same group. Finally Josh came down and it was a little better. We did have some adults come over and talk with us and ask questions, which we don't mind at all. So that was nice, it is just the screams and some comments people make that bug me. Monday we all went down for breakfast together and there was only about 2 other people down there so it was a nice breakfast!

As for the room and sleeping, it went pretty well. They listened very well and did not fight too much. I think I only lost my patience with them once... that is really good for me! It gets lost easily with them! Jaeli slept with Josh Saturday night and Maysie slept on the chair while Mak slept with me. Mak was the only one who woke up and it was on and off all night as she was yelling stuff. Must have been having nightmares or something. Sunday night Maysie slept with Josh and Jaeli slept on the chair and Makenna slept with me again. She slept good that night! They played well in the room and only complained a few times about no cartoons!

Thanks Aunt Jarilyn for spending the weekend with us, it was a good time!

Indy - Caribbean Cove Indoor Waterpark

So the biggest event of the weekend was taking the girls to Caribbean Cove Indoor Waterpark in Indianapolis. The only negative thing about it was the girls were about 2 inches too short to go on the BIG waterslides. JJ and MJ wanted nothing to do with it anyways. But Mak wanted to so bad, but they would not let her, not even if she went with someone. I bet next year she will be tall enough!! Jace wont be, but he will probably enjoy the other parts I am sure. This time he was just a little too much TROUBLE to take with us, mainly at the hospital for Mak's appointment but I was guessing we would have had a hard time keeping an eye on him at the waterpark since he is at that age where he likes to just take off and not listen. So next year we will see. The girls had so much fun and can't wait to take them back!

Not sure what Miss Maysie was doing in these two pics, watching the water flow I guess... JJ was trying to look pretty for her picture!

Aunt Jarilyn playing with the girls!

So much fun!

Indy Trip - Monkey Joe's!

Sunday night we needed something to do with the kids cause we were not about to go swimming at the hotel pool, so we took them to Monkey Joe's. They had a blast last time and they are a little older than then, so thought they would have even more fun! They all did great, no one had any problems climbing unlike last time we went about a year ago. And because they are 4, Aunt Jarilyn was aloud to go up on the slides with them. It was much needed every time JJ got her feelings hurt because someone ran into her. She was so devastated and so sad that someone "accidentally" bumped into her. It was so sad, but Aunt Jarilyn was there to carry her back up on her back and down JJ went and was just fine then! She is so sensitive. Glad they had lots of fun there. Next year we will have to take Jace for sure, he would have loved it!
 Miss Maysie
 Miss Makenna!
 Miss Jaeli!
 Jaeli jumping around!
Makenna very very high up and enjoying herself!
 Maysie having fun running around!
I managed to get them all together to snap a picture. Such big girls!

And the trip home... they had a long weekend and slept all the way home!!!
