The girls with their new cousin!

The girls with their new cousin. This was very interesting. I guess it is preparing us for the near future when their brother comes! Josie was crying, very loud, Makenna came in to see what was going on. I think she thought we were hurting her because she then started to cry. She did not like it! They all wanted to touch her and poke her eyes and pick her nose. It was kinda funny, but at the same time, worries me a bit! Hopefully they take to their brother better and don't try to hurt him too much. I know they are too young to understand, but what will I do to keep him safe???

She weighs a little over 8lbs. She seems so small. I can't even remember the girls being that small. And they were half her size when we brought them home. I think Maysie was just under 4lbs. Amazing how tiny they were once!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We now climb onto the couch, then climb up the couch, then climb up to the window. I just can't stop it anymore! (Maysie in the picture does it the most, my little monkey.) So we have moved the end table away from the couch and now have the floor surrounded with blankets in case mommy can not catch us in time!
Makenna sitting on Jaeli while she reads a book. Makenna is signing eat while she bounces up and down on Jaeli!
We love to wear our hats now, thanks Aunt Kris! They will walk around for 10, 20 minutes at a time without them coming off. Sometimes...they just like taking them off and making me put them back on or taking them off each other!

I wanted to post a little about what I am thankful for this year.

This has been a tough year, and has gone by so fast but I have never been happier! I have three amazing daughters and a little boy on the way. And it is all thanks to my very dear husband Josh.

So first, to Josh...
Thank you for giving me our beautiful children. I never would have imagined I would be the mother of triplet girls and have a forth one so close in age. Our life, our family is so great. It is everything I have ever wanted and more. It can be tough at times, but we get through it because we have each other. This could not be possible without you, a husband who is always there when I need him, no matter what. A husband who supports me in every way he can. A husband who would do anything for his family. And most of all, the best father I could ask for. Thank you for being you.

To my parents...
Thank you for being such great and supportive parents. You truly are the best parents I could ask for. I know things get tough at times and my life effects your life greatly. You don't have to do what you do, but you do anyways. I know you guys love us dearly and would do anything for us. We could do this on our own if we had to, we would manage some way, some how. But you two are truly a life saver. You keep us sane, you support us in any way you can. You make sure we get a "break" whenever we need it. I only wish there was some way we could repay you. Someday we will! So thank you for being my parents! My children are very lucky to have you in their lives.

To my family & friends...
Many of you have helped us in so many ways. We are very thankful for everything you have done for us. I am not going to name names just in case I would forget someone. You all know who you are, we only hope we can do the same for you some day. Thank you for being here for us whenever we need you.

Zipper Sleepers

Maysie loves to go for the food drawer!
Snack Time
Makenna (& Maysie) love to sit on each other!
I think Makenna fell into the basket and was not too happy!

Miss J, my mom loves this picture!
We like to pick on each other, we think its fun...until someone gets hurt!

is the only one that has hair long enough to put up! Of course, then it is long enough to tangle too. I don't know what to do about the hair on all three of them. They all have crazy hair and nothing I can do with it. Should I cut it??? But it is so short... I want it to grow! I just don't know!

As for Zipper Sleepers, well I love them! I love how easy they make it to change diapers, take them somewhere without having to put shoes back on every time they take them off! They keep them warm too. BUT unfortunately, the girls are starting to figure them out. Maysie is the first. She now knows to unbutton the top part and then pull down the zipper. She has even managed to do it to Jaeli for her. WOW, what am I in for! Well last night my mom got her dressed after her bath and within a minute she was undressed! I put a piece of Duct Tape at the top of the zipper and it stayed on all night long!!!

Kissing and Brushing our Teeth!

Our first Walmart trip! It is great they have a cart that fits triplets! Thanks for helping aunt Jarilyn!

Some pictures of the girls eating. They were in a good mood but for some reason, we could not get them to all!

Well brushing our teeth is so much fun! They all three hate it and fight me each time, but it needs done. So I have a funny story to tell. It was so cute!

Makenna and Maysie will give kisses if you ask for them. But for some reason, Jaeli refuses to give anyone a kiss when you ask. She will kiss her Teddy Bears or toys, but not me, or anyone else! Well it was time to brush teeth and I brushed Makenna first, then Maysie. It was time for Jaeli. She ran from me of course, so I went and picked her up. I was holding the toothbrush in my hand while I was holding her and turned it on (its electric) and said lets brush your teeth. All of a sudden she leans in, opens her mouth and gives me a big wet sloppy kiss! It shocked me. Then she smiled. I said, oh you think that is going to get you out of it. Sorry, lets brush your teeth, so she does it again. This went on three or four times and then I brushed them. I asked her for a kiss when I was done and she refused! It was so cute! I guess I know how to get a kiss from Jaeli now!

Baby Boy Update

I had my 31 week check up today. Heart beat sounded great. He has been moving like crazy and is very high! The doctor decided to schedule a date for the c-section. I am due on January 19th, but since I am having a scheduled c-section, we decided to schedule it for 39 weeks just to be safe. It would not be a good thing to go into full labor and deliver naturally. There is a greater chance of my uterus rupturing form the c-section I had with the girls. Better to be safe than sorry! Hopefully he stays in until 39 weeks and we don't have a Christmas baby!

So long as all goes well and we don't have any problems, he will be born on Monday January 11th, 2010. (011110) Pretty neat actually! That will be easy to remember! Most likely in the morning! We should have a time soon.

Now I just have to find someone to watch the girls for 5 days! Wow, that is going to suck big time. I am actually starting to freak out about that more than anything. With this flu thing, the hospitals will not let anyone under 18 years old visit. So that means, I will not see my babies for 5 days. How will I manage. It will be very hard. Maybe we can set up a web cam!

To My Husband

Just wanted to say thank you for all you do! Thanks to you I was able to spend some time with my sister to experience the birth of her daughter. I was gone longer than I expected, but you managed and you did a great job all by yourself! I could not do this without you! Thank you for being such a great husband and father. I am grateful to be your wife and the mother of your three beautiful daughters and soon your son! We make a great family and I would not want it any other way! I never imagined I would be this happy and blessed. It is all because of you!
Thank you!
I love you very much!

Newest Addition to our Family!

On November 14th, 2009, my sister Mandy had her very first child. Josalyn Janice. It was a struggle, but she did it! Congrats Mandy and thank you for letting me be apart of it! Even though it was not what we thought it would be, it was still great to spend the time with you and be there for you during this huge change in your life!

Jaeli is Walking!

Miss J is finally walking! It has been a few days. She would only walk at home for awhile, whenever we went somewhere else, she refused to walk. Well now she is walking all the time! She still crawls, but is starting to walk more and more every day! She now thinks she can pick on her sisters since she is at the same level as them. Very cute to see all of them walking! I can't believe I have three toddlers!

16 Months

Being Silly
Jaeli playing in the toy box!
All of us scared because mommy played a loud noise on her phone!

(Sorry for the quality of the pics...from my phone!)

Wow, my babies are almost 1 1/2 years old. I can't believe how fast time is going. Where did my sweet little babies go?

Well I think we are hitting the terrible twos early! They now throw tantrums. This time change thing has us all messed up too. We are now extremely tired at about 6:30 p.m. every night. So we are in bed by 7 p.m. now instead of 7:30 p.m. and always up at 6:30 a.m. instead of 7 or 7:30 a.m. I keep them in there until 7:45 a.m., so hopefully they get used to it soon. The day goes pretty fast and is pretty easy up until snack time at 4:30 p.m. So from 4:30 - 7 p.m. it is craziness! Some days they do really good and some days they are just cranky and fussy.

Tantrums: So now that they have discovered these, I have decided to ignore them and let them kick and cry it out. Makenna is doing much better and Maysie is just in the beginning stages of it, but each day they get shorter! Jaeli only does it when she is really really tired! If I give in and give them attention, then they do it even longer or more frequent. So for those of you who help me with the girls... bare with me during this process and ignore them until they stop crying, then we give them "positive" attention. In the end, we will have less tantrums and happier toddlers!

Snack Time: Snack time has become crazy too. They have to eat eat eat. Both their hands have to have food in them and their mouths. I think they think if they don't hold as much as possible, their sisters will take it. So I am trying to think of some easier, less messy snacks for them. I may just have to start giving them their snacks in their high chairs. They seem so hungry. So I may also switch dinner and snack time around again.

Schedule: Our schedule is so messed up. Something needs to happen, but so hard to come up with a new one right now until we figure out when we are moving out of our house...if we are moving out of our house. They take good naps every other day, so the days they don't take good naps, they are cranky all day long. I think we need to cut down to one nap a day, but man, I love having two naps a day for "me" time! But I think it is time! I am going to give it another week or two until we figure out what is going on with our house and then we will try a new schedule. Wish us luck!

Comfort Items: Our blankets and pacifiers are always wanted! I thought about getting rid of the pacifiers before the baby comes, but with so much changing I decided not too. There are going to be huge changes coming soon, so I want them to have that comfort to help them get through it. I already feel bad enough to change their world around. They love having a schedule and when it changes, its not a good time. So I think once we get settled into a new home, if that is the case, and after they get used to the baby, then we will talk about taking away paci's. As for blankets, I am going to let them keep those for awhile longer. Maybe in 6 months or so, we will "cut" them in half and then do the same thing every month until they are gone! We have two of each, so I will save one for them for when they are older and then "destroy" the other one over time.

Tooth brushing: We have been slacking on brushing the teeth since it is such a fight, but it is time to change that! They do pretty good by themselves, chewing on the brush. So I decided to give them their toothbrush every morning to "play" with and then every night after their bath. Then I brush them really good. They hate it, especially Jaeli and Makenna. And Jaeli knows just how to turn her head so I can't get them brushed well! It is a struggle, but something that must be done!

Clothes: We hate wearing clothes. They are always tugging and pulling at them trying to take them off. They are crying and throwing fits because I wont take them off. I think that is my mistake for letting them run around all summer in just diapers. They are getting better at doing it themselves. So I have to be careful of what I put them in, especially for nap time. I am going to have to bring out the duct tape soon!

Daddy: We love our daddy! They don't get to see him very often during the week since he works 2nd shift, but when they do get to see him, they get so excited! They love climbing on him, reading books with him, anything! I think daddy loves it too!

Communication: We are learning some signs, not as fast as I would like, but that is our fault for slacking! We can all sign eat, baby & touchdown! I just started drink. So hopefully they catch onto that soon. We are not talking as much as I would like, but we are getting there. They say a few words each, but its hard to understand them at times! There is ma ma, da da, more, cat, dog, that, this, grandma. I think we need to work on this a little more!

She has become quite the tickle bug! She hated it before, but now she loves to be tickled. It is so great to hear her laugh, she does not do it often, unless its her evil laugh.

She does not share well, she always has to play with what the other two are playing with.

She loves to be chased by anyone and everyone, even the dog! She is always trying to give Whitney, the dog, kisses. I think Whitney gets very annoyed at times!

She is constantly signing "eat"! That is all she ever wants to do! It is very cute though!

We have a bean bag chair she loves to "throw" herself into back words. It is so funny! We can't forget how much she loves to "sit" on her sisters! She not only sits on them, she jumps up and down on them too. (A little to hard sometimes.) She also likes to step on them. We are going to have to figure something out about this or someone is going to get seriously hurt. I am finding myself having to pull her off of them quite often! She just thinks it is so funny, and usually the one she is sitting on does too... until she gets too rough!

She moans and groans all through meal times because she wants her tray filled with everything on it, all at once. She can never have enough. And when mommy or daddy is trying to eat... she has to have some.

She is cuddling a little more than usual. She is not a cuddlier, so it is quite nice!

She is now running, it is pretty cute, she trips every once in awhile though and falls.

She is still very much a Grandma's girl. She always has to have her, its like I am not even there when Grandma is around! I thought this was a phase, but its been going on for a couple months now!

I am now able to put her hair up, but I only really choose to do it because it is starting to get in her face. They are all pretty much bald on the very top of their heads! So I have to put it to the side all the time, but I think she looks cute. She is also the only one that will leave it in and not pull it out. I think the other two are getting used to her having it up and don't pull on it as much as they used to.

She is still Miss Independent! She will go off and play by herself all the time. She does not usually take things from the other two or fight with them. On occasion she will, but not often. But when they take from her or she wants something they have... here come the tears and the "lip".

I would have to say she is still my best sleeper! When she is tired, you will know it and she becomes very needy!

She loves to be tickled, her laugh is so cute. Daddy has been doing "this little piggy" and she seems to really enjoy that, they all do!

She likes to sit with you or lay somewhere and just read a book. It's like she is reading a foreign language!

Walking is still an issue, but we are getting there. A couple times a day, I notice her taking a few steps all by herself, but then she falls! Her balance is getting much better, so I think once she gets that down, she will be good to go!

During snack time, she does not eat much. She would rather go play. So her sisters usually end up with her snacks! She will take a bite, then a drink and then drop everything and go off and play. She sure does love to play!

She is very much a mama's girl! She loves to cuddle with me or sit with me.

We are still quite the drama queen, not as bad as it used to be unless she is really tired. The tantrums are getting crazy!

Her smile is just so adorable, and she is always smiling or trying to be silly.

Her newest thing is doing EVERYTHING Makenna does. It is so funny. She now backs up into you to sit on your lap just like Makenna does. She signs eat all the time just like Makenna does. She throws fits just like Makenna. She tries to climb everything like Makenna. She turns in circles now just like Makenna. She also follows her everywhere! It is very cute!

She gives me kisses all the time now! All of them used to give them all the time, and then they stopped. But I got her to do it again. It is very cute! She has a smile on her face every time!

Some meals she eats like a pig and some meals she is so slow and does not eat much! But when snack time comes, she is always right there ready to eat!

She is still my early bird, always up first. Every once in awhile she wakes up from naps and just cries and cries. She refuses to go to sleep.

She is starting to get very attached to her blanket. It is very cute!

So that is the update on the girls! I am sure there are things I forgot, but will add them as I remember!

The Three Little Pigs!
Us with our cousins Noah and Alexis

We dressed up as the three little pigs for Halloween! They were a big hit! We even got some applause! They girls were a bit fussy, but did pretty good for the most part. We only walked around for about an hour, I think we all had enough! Thanks to Grandma J for helping! We had a good time with our cousins Alexis and Noah!

15 Month Update!

Makenna very happy she is walking around in only her diaper since we don't let her do it very often! (She likes to itch and pull it off.)
Makenna very happy she is walking around in only her diaper since we don't let her do it very often! (She likes to itch and pull it off.)
Jaeli and Maysie being goofy!

We had our 15 month check up. Here are our weights...

Makenna: 25 lbs 7 oz and 30 5/8"
Jaeli: 21 lbs 13 oz and 28 7/8"
Maysie: 20 lbs 10 oz and 28 1/2"

Jaeli is slowly starting to take more steps, hopefully she will soon. Maysie is getting very good and loves to do whatever Makenna does! Makenna's favorite words now are "uh oh"! Whenever she drops something or something similar happens, she is always right there to say it! It is so cute! Jaeli and Maysie are starting to say it too! We all sign "eat" and "baby". Makenna is always signing eat...she loves to eat! We can say, Dad, Daddy, Dog, Mama, and Duck. Maybe a few others, but can't really tell that is what they are saying!
