Pictures of Jace!

Here are some pictures of Jace his aunt Jarilyn took. They are better than the ones in the previous post. He loves to eat... can ya tell?

Not much going on. I did have a rough day today though. Make and Jae puked, so I had two separate messes to clean up. So GROSS! Mak has a bit of a fever, hopefully it starts to go down soon.

We all had a good holiday, getting ready to wrap some Christmas presents. I can't wait to see their faces on Christmas morning! Still too young to understand Santa, but hopefully next year!

Will try to get some more pics posted soon.

Jace is Walking!

Well Jace has been walking a lot more. He takes more than just a few steps now. He can walk from one place to another...that is if he wants to. He knows how to, but would rather crawl most of the time. I catch him a couple times a day trying to do it all on his own, without someone sitting a few feet away trying to get him to walk to them! He falls a lot, but then just keeps on crawling. He gets into everything now and wants to see and do everything! For instance, in the pics above, I was in the bathroom, doing my business, and next thing I know he turned on the water and got in the tub. He fell in and his head was right under the faucet. He was soaked, diaper and clothes! He just looked up at me and smiled! He loved it. I love this age for the personality, but for the getting around...I hate it!

As for the other picture, we just thought it would be fun to style his hair and give him his mo-hawk back like he used to have naturally for his first few months of life!

(Sorry for the picture size, they were taken on my phone. I need a better picture phone!)

Well this year I have one more thing to be thankful for than I did last year. I am very thankful for my miracle baby Jace. He is almost one and a handful, but a huge blessing! I can't imagine life without him. He puts a smile on my face every day. He is always full of laughs and giggles. He doesn't cry much and is a very good baby. He has been trying to walk, getting better every day. He is also full of cuddles and loves attention. He gets so bored without his sisters, he loves to follow them around and TRY to take their toys. They usually win though. One day, he will be bigger than them! So long as he is getting attention, he is a happy baby. He is one regular food now, eats breakfast, lunch and dinner with the girls. I am transitioning him soon to milk. I can't wait to be done with bottles! He is a very sweet baby. I am grateful to have my baby boy Jace!

I am very thankful for my big girl Makenna. She is a handful also. She is hitting the three's early I think. She causes me the most trouble. She can be the sweetest, most lovable girl and then a second later, she is a hellion! I just don't know what to do with her sometimes. I have tried so many different ways of punishing her and nothing seems to work. I guess I just have to stick to one and go with it. She gave us our biggest scare yet a couple months ago. I am sure I will have many more scares like that in the future with any of them, but I pray it is not any time soon and it turns out better than worse. The worst feeling in the world is to know your child is hurting, or very sick and there is nothing you can do about it. I love her hugs, they are the best hugs in the world! She is definitely a momma's girl...most of the time. She is still very very shy, but once she warms up to you, she is so much fun!

My little Miss Jaeli Jo is just like her momma! I am so thankful to have her in my life. She has my temper, but she is very laid back too like her mom and dad! She is usually a Grandma's girl, but it changes! She can be mean to me and her sisters at times. But she is also a big cuddlier! Books are her favorite thing...well besides babies! Give her a book and a baby and she is in heaven! Anytime a new baby or book come around, she has to have it. She loves her sister Maysie. As for Makenna, she is still warming up to her. Makenna can be very mean, but she is learning to fight back. She is getting her last two teeth in, and she is very needy! She just wants held and wines and cries until she gets her way! Once those teeth finally pop all the way through, I am hoping to get my independent girl back that just wants some loving here and there instead of clinging to me 24/7! Love my sweet girl!

My baby girl Maysie is a joy! She loves to test me, but I am thankful to have such an amazing little girl in my life! She is drama, loves to cause it and loves to show it! When someone does something bad, she is right there doing it too, just to see what I will do. She loves to make people laugh. She has the best facial expressions. When she gets pushed or hurt, she lets you know. Give her some attention and she is good to go. She loves Makenna and Jaeli very much. As for Jace, I don't think she cares for him too much yet. She and Jaeli definitely have a connection, but she loves Makenna just as much! She is Mak's sidekick. Lately, she has been a Grandpa's girl, always asking where Grandpa is. She is usually the first one to go to him these days. She has her last two teeth coming in also, so she is very over-dramatic lately. She has a smile that will lighten up anyone's day, love my baby girl Maysie!

As for Josh, I could not ask for a better husband. Our marriage is still going strong and we are both still very happy. (I know I am, I am pretty sure he is too! Ha) The girls love him to death. He works very hard to keep a roof over our heads and food on the table. We don't see each other as much as I would like, but it works, we make due and always find time for each other when we need it. Our lives have been taken over by our four amazing children, but we still find ways to keep on loving each other! I couldn't do any of this without him, I am thankful to have such a wonderful and loving husband. Thanks Josh for being an awesome dad and great husband! We love you!

My parents are amazing! Amazing doesn't even explain how great they are. They have done so much for us, more than anyone else has ever done or probably ever will. They are always there when we need them, no matter what. They keep me sane by taking the girls when I need them to or just for a break. My children have interrupted their lives greatly, but they are okay with that, they love them like their own. I don't trust anyone more than them to take care of my kids. And best of all, my kids absolutely adore them! Thank you mom and dad for being such great parents and helping Josh and I raise our kids. I only hope I can be to my kids what you are to me. Love you guys so very much!

Grandpa J has been a huge help. I am very thankful to have him whenever I need him. The kids adore him as well, very much. He is always there when I need someone to come over just to help me, keep me from going NUTS! I know it can be hard for him at times, but he sticks by and manages. He does whatever he can, not only for the kids, but for Josh and I too. You have been a great Grandpa and I am very thankful the kids have you in their lives.

Grandma J, Grandpa Rick, Aunts Jarilyn, Kristin, Mandy, Steph... you all have been a great support system. Thank you for being here for us. The kids love you all and I am very thankful to have you in their lives.

Family and Friends... we are thankful to have you in our lives and to know we can call on you for anything. We are very blessed to have you. Thank you for everything!

There new thing now is playing ring around the rosie! They love doing it and get very upset when one of them does not want to do it. Jace just sits there and laughs at them!

Who knew boxes would be so fun! Maybe that is what we should get them for Christmas! Kept them busy for hours.

Jace is now 10 months old. He is still in the process of trying to walk. He is getting better! He says Uh Oh all the time. Learned it from his sisters who say it constantly. He is getting two more teeth in on the top. So he has been fussy lately. Hope they come in soon! He is starting to slow down on bottles. Next month going to start transitioning to milk. It will be so nice to never have to do formula again!

Getting Ready for Christmas...

Well my family is coming to my house for Thanksgiving this year. It will be a first! So I have lots to do in the next couple weeks. So I wanted to take advantage of the time the girls are with my mom during the week! I decided to decorate for Christmas this week, and next week will be CLEANING... a much needed cleaning!

Josh is not a big fan of decorating, but hopefully it will get him in the spirit. I grew up LOVING Christmas and I want to make sure the kids do too. This will be Jace's first Christmas and the girls first official Christmas! Last year we were living with my in laws cause we were in-between homes and the year before they were itty bitty!

I put up all three trees I had! I found a home for them somewhere. The little one is in the play room, its been up for a week or two. Then put one in the Kitchen so they kids will see one for the next month. The big one is in the living room, where the kids are not allowed (except for Christmas morning of course!) They can see it though when they look through the fireplace. I am sure there will be a few times here or there we let them come into the living room, so I am sure they will get to see it a few times before Christmas morning. I put on the floor something to keep them from getting too close to it. Hopefully it works! If they step on it, it will hurt a bit, just enough I hope to keep them away (especially Jace). Its the floor protector thingy that has those points on the bottom of it to keep it from moving on the carpet. Well...I just turned it over. I have stepped on them many times, and it does hurt if you are not expecting it.

It will be exciting to see the kids faces on Christmas morning and to see all their presents!

And a note...Jace is starting to walk. He has taken a step or two here and there. It will be any day now! And of course the girls just have to play with his toy all the time! They don't let him have it very often. They are also getting very... annoying when it comes to making a bottle for Jace. They always fight with each other about who gets to give him his bottle. Drives me nuts!

If Your Happy and You Know It...

The girls love watching the Baby Einstein video that has "If Your Happy and You Know It" in it. They always get excited when it starts and most of the time all three participate. Sometimes just Maysie and Jaeli, but Makenna is starting to get into it more!

Stickers keep the girls busy for a good hour when they are being fussy. They love putting them on the board I give um and especially their babies, themselves or other objects! We can only do it when Jace is sleeping cause he tries to eat um, but hopefully he will be able to participate soon!

Picture of Makenna in the hospital, mine were almost all blurry, but my mom got a decent one.

Picture of Jace on the trampoline having fun!

Picture of Maysie in the playcenter trying to be a baby!

Picture of Jaeli with cereal in her hair! She was trying to drink it from the bowl and it ended up all over her!

My mom and sister took the girls to McDonalds they other day so they could play. They had so much fun. I just wish there was something like that near us that we did not have to go to and eat McDonalds.

My parents came over a few weeks ago to watch the kids. They had a blast with Grandpa playing with them on the floor! He was hiding from them and they thought it was the greatest thing!

They love sitting in their chairs. I actually had to buy Jace one too because he is always trying to get into theirs. So now they will each have one. I am sure that wont stop the fighting, but it might help!

Getting Ourselves Dressed.

They are obsessed with dressing themselves lately. They are getting better. Sometimes of course things are on backwards or they need help because two legs are in one leg section. They are getting so big!

Baby Einstein

The girls LOVE Baby Einstein Videos. They would watch them all day long if I let them. I don't mind them watching tv, so long as they are learning from it. I actually took this picture because they had been fussy, so I turned Baby Einstein on and took Jace to put him down for a nap. When I came back, I found all three of them sitting on the couch...TOGETHER and not fighting!

Lets Go Colts

Here is a very cute Colts picture of them all! And they were all smiling!
